DMB 2010

Last night was the Dave Matthews Band concert with Amos Lee as the opening act. I've been looking forward to this concert since DMB announced their tour MONTHS ago. Also, DMB announced that they will not be touring in 2011 for the first time, EVER, so I really wanted to enjoy the concert. Well that was an epic fail on my behalf. I got the bright idea to start chugging, yes chugging my drinks. Before I knew it the concert was ending and the only song I remembered hearing them play was "Jimi Thing". Now that's a good song to "un blackout" to but thanks to my poor decisions I missed an awesome concert. I do however, seem to have quiiiite a few pictures, 90 to be exact, to at least give me somewhat of an idea what the show was like. Prior to the concert my friend and I decided that we would go to the Gorge (out in Washington) in 2012 to see them. Now that I missed an entire concert I will be seeing them as many times in 2012 and will make a point to FOR SURE be at the Gorge concert :)

SWOOZIES!

On April 1st I received a call from my boss giving me the horrible news that Swoozies was going out of business. Given the day that it was I thought she was playing an April fool's joke on me. As soon as she called me, JK and I hopped in the car to see if it was true and it was. I was so sad that I cried! Swoozies has been my favorite store since it opened and I was SO excited to get to plan and use their resources for my wedding. You can only imagine the excitement that I had when I got an inside scoop that it was reopening and now it is OFFICIAL!!!! Swoozies.com is back up and running and it is better than ever! They're going to offer a lot more merchandise than they did in the past and it even looks like they are going to have a "registry" section! That makes this bride to be SUPER happy! I cannot wait to find out more and I cannot wait for the grand re-opening! WELCOME BACK SWOOZIES! I have missed you.

2010 100 Best Places to Live!

CNN posted its 2010, 100 best places to live and my hometown was number 96! While I am definitely biased I think that Appleton is a great place to live and I miss it! I was surprised that more South Carolina cities were not on the list!
Appleton has a ton of great things, especially fried cheese curds :) my most favorite thing in the world!!!
